The simple option suits rooms where a sleeping area is the priority and daytime space needs to be reclaimed. The closed cabinet’s position on the wall differs from the open bed’s footprint; consider both when choosing.
Which room dimensions should you check?
A vertical wall bed extends into the room from its foot end. Plan the open depth and circulation space in front of it alongside the cabinet width. Also consider door clearance, ceiling height and the full layout width if additional storage modules are included.
Choosing colours and materials
